LIVE SKULL! SKULL PRACTITIONERS! BOG CREEPER! HARRISBURG @CCMH!!!

Live Skull are a pioneering noise rock band from New York City, formed in 1982 as part of the same downtown post-No-Wave scene that produced Sonic Youth and Swans. The band features original and foundational members Mark C and Richard Hutchins, along with Dave Hollighurst and newcomer Colyn Hunt.
The band is doing a short run of East Coast shows for the release of What Could Go Wrong?--out Nov. 13 on Bronson Recordings--their fourth studio LP since reuniting in 2016. Like their live shows, the album moves effortlessly between melody, noise and chaos. Using spoken word and collage-style poetry inspired by William Burroughs, Mark C’s lyrics have edged away from personal and interpersonal rebellion to center more on broader concerns about political extremism, authoritarianism, and the direction of American society.

Their releases include Death Buy and Negative Stars on In the Red Records
Bog Creeper- Born under the Bad Moon of Three Mile Island, Bog Creeper are twin toxic avengers howling into the Rust Belt's dystopian void. Themes of suicide, homicide, depression, asylum, and innate violence paint Bog Creeper's propulsive punch rock as mandatory listening to clear the bullshit out of brains rotted by over-produced commercial crap- Lydia Lunch
