Live Nude Model Drawing taught by Teresa Duke

This figurative life drawing open session features a live, nude model posing for quick gestural and long-term poses and is open to the public. Nude life figure drawing holds a pivotal role in artistic education, serving as a fundamental practice that hones an artist’s understanding of anatomy, form, and expression. Our large classroom offers 360-degree views of the model, allowing movement between poses or careful study from one angle. At the Arts Center in Orange, we believe that by studying the human figure in its raw state, we can gain insight into the intricacies of the human form, fostering a deeper connection between artistic representation and the nuances of the human experience. No experience is needed to join! Our instructors are highly skilled, with many years of figure drawing experience to help guide all of our nude life figure drawing session goers. Apart from learning from our instructors, we always encourage our participants to learn from each other through conversations during the breaks.

Do note that all participants must be 18 years old and above to join our sessions. All participants may be required to provide valid identification as proof of age upon request. Participants are expected to maintain a respectful and professional environment. No photography or videography allowed.*
