Australian singer-songwriter Leigh Marks blends roots, blues, and rock into a sound grounded in nature and authenticity.
Influenced by artists like Ben Harper and Chris Cornell, music for Leigh is a healing journey - offering comfort and reflection. As frontman of Crow of the Cloud, he has shared bills with the likes of Billy Idol, Sepultura, and the late Taylor Hawkins, and has supported Wirtz as well as preceded Ingo Pohlmann on stage - both with the band and as a solo artist.
During the pandemic, Leigh crafted Mavis Said, an album honouring his grandmother, filled with themes of nature, resilience, and love.
Now, he’s preparing to tour Europe, sharing his soulful blend of blues, folk, and rock - carrying with him her enduring words: “It’s gonna be alright.”
