Live at the Library - Katie Archer

Katie Archer writes songs and (sometimes publicly) sings them. Following in the steps of contemporary Irish folk acts like Anna-Mieke and Niamh Regan, as well as older folkies such as Dylan and Drake, Katie’s compositions for voice and guitar are a mixture of introspection, storytelling, social commentary and emotional expression. By using songwriting as a means of processing her personal world and understanding more universal social experiences, Katie hopes to promote the shared reality of being human in a world that seems determined to individualise and divide.
