USA’s Birthday!
America turns 250 years old this year! This month, we will celebrate the founding of the United States by learning about why the country was created, going on a patriotic scavenger hunt, and making a festive craft to take home.
“Little Learners” is the museum’s interactive series of children’s programming that brings fun facts, objects, and activities out of the past!
The series is held monthly for children 2-5 years old. Each month will feature a different story, activity, and craft inspired by local history.
A parent or guardian must accompany their child.
This program is FREE thanks to a Power of Change grant from the Rappahannock Electric Cooperative.
THIS EVENT IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO 15 CHILDREN. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
Participants may be photographed for use in museum promotional and marketing material.
