When a prank convinces seven-year-old Joey that he has seriously injured his older brother, he runs away to Coney Island. Armed with only a handful of coins, Joey spends a day exploring the amusement parks, beaches, and boardwalks of New York City in a joyful and unforgettable coming-of-age adventure. Filmed on location with remarkable realism, Little Fugitive received an Academy Award nomination and remains a landmark of American cinema.
