About this Event

Literary Studies Circle: Voices of Latin America

Presented by (Northern Ontario Latin-Hispanic Association)
Join us for an inspiring masterclass series led by , PhD.
In each monthly session, participants will discover the fascinating stories behind some of Latin America's most celebrated authors and literary works. Together, we will explore the cultural, historical, and social contexts that shaped these books, as well as the impact they have had on readers and societies around the world. We will also explore how translation transforms these works, uncovering hidden nuances and cultural meanings.

Sessions will be conducted in English, and no prior reading is required. However, participants who have already read some of the featured authors or wish to read along during the series may find the experience even more enriching and rewarding.
