What makes a place ‘sacred’? What is it about architectural acoustics that can elicit awe? How did ritual sounds and music develop for these spaces?
Join us for two days of presentations, demonstrations and concerts featuring live virtual acoustic renderings of cultural heritage sites.
Presentation sites include the paleolithic Chauvet-Pont-d'Arc Cave, funerary sites in Ancient Egypt, ritual Andean structures, sacred indigenous sites in the American southwest, and renaissance churches in Italy.
