Stanford India Conference

The Stanford India Conference is the largest student-run conference on the West Coast focused on the U.S.–India strategic partnership. Hosted at Stanford University, it brings together leaders from technology, policy, business, and academia to explore the ideas and collaborations shaping India’s global trajectory.

Through keynote conversations, panels, and networking sessions, the conference creates a platform for meaningful dialogue on innovation, investment, geopolitics, and social impact. It serves as a bridge between communities, fostering connections between students and global leaders while highlighting the evolving role of India on the world stage.

We are also excited to launch the first Innovate for US–India (I4UI) Ideathon. I4UI brings together students and Bay Area innovators to design actionable solutions across the U.S.–India corridor in policy, business, and technology. Teams move from rapid ideation to a judged final pitch in front of academics, investors, and practitioners working at the intersection of both countries.

Winning teams receive mentorship from VCs, policymakers, or Stanford academics, along with a starter fund to develop their idea further. Register for I4UI now!
