Sunday 14th June: 2 hours of swing dancing classes 11am-1pm

An afternoon of dancing and live music from the Golden Era of Jazz with The Eva Collins Quintet + included beginners' dance class.
DANCE CLASSES
PARTNERED swing dancing classes at Lisgoold Community Centre.
NO PARTNER REQUIRED. ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS ABSOLUTELY WELCOME. You can come on your own. We'll be rotating partnerships frequently through the classes, so you do not have to come with a partner. If you can invite people, even absolute beginners, the whole class would very much appreciate it.
Payment in advance by Revolut is required to ensure this event is viable.

DIFFERENT PACKAGES AVAILABLE:
€50 for 6 hours of classes across the weekend.
€40 for all 4 classes on Saturday
€35 for three classes on Sunday only
€25 for only two classes on Saturday or Sunday (Either 2 beginners classes or 2 classes back to back. Dancers cannot only attend the improvers/intermediate classes.)
€15 for one 50 minute beginners class.
Class timetable for the weekend:
Each 2 hour session starts with 50 minutes of the basics & fundamentals suitable for absolute beginners and as an essential refresher for the improvers/intermediate class of the session.
Saturday 13th June
- 11am Eight count lindy hop basics, bust outs and circles
- 12pm Improvers swing outs and variations
- 3pm Basic and side-by-side lindy hop in Charleston frames
- 4pm Improvers lindy hop in Charleston frames, tandem lindy hop and mixing with regular lindy hop
Sunday 14th June
- 11am Six count lindy hop basics, circles and pass-bys
- 12pm Improvers six count swing outs and controlling fast returns
- 2pm SWING IT!
