Lions of Fire with Darling I'm Dying and Jaded Justice at Up The Creek

Lions of Fire is a three piece from the Bay Area. Heavy, technical, cinematic. Composed metal that opens into improvisation. Josh Falcon on lead guitar, Jordan Walker on bass and other instruments where the songs need them, Martin Olguin on drums.

We come from three different musical backgrounds. Josh writes from rock and metal. Jordan plays a lot of jazz, with funk and folk in the mix. Martin keeps a latin pulse under everything. When we lock in, the song ends up somewhere none of us would have written on our own. The course of a storm. Loud, fast, dangerous, and quiet at the strangest moments

Darling I'm dying is a post-hardcore/emo band formed and fronted by Poyraz (PZ) Cagdas Ates.
He is a Turkish American student at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a multi-instrumentalist who has written, recorded, and produced all of Darling I'm dying's music.
After relying on heavy music to get through many difficult experiences, Poyraz created Darling I'm dying in hopes to give that outlet to others as well. The songs are often dialogues between two characters played by Poyraz and his dear friend Xandy Daskalakis. They discuss real situations that PZ has battled or witnessed, in an attempt to shed light on genuine experiences exhibited within the youth culture in the Bay Area and beyond. With a deep belief in respect and community, Poyraz continues to love and support those around him, in hopes that with a large enough following he can support close friends and family who need it, as well as positively impact the Bay Area and beyond.

Jaded Justice is a punk rock band based in the Bay Area set to rile up the world. Jaded Justice hopes to build community and help others be safe to feel pissed off at the whole fascist world, their insane family situation, or even just a stupid little guy. From a young age, Blake felt like a controlled experiment with the only freeing part of life being a deep inclination towards music. All members of the band have been music lovers from a young age; Blake on vocals, Beau on lead guitar, Janice on bass, and PZ on drums. Together, the combined creative power is endless and even more focused. Their message is: Get more jaded now!
