About this Event

Step outside your comfort zone and try something a little unexpected—the lesser-known, quietly

magical art of printmaking. This beginner-friendly workshop invites you to slow down, get your

hands dirty, and experience the tactile process of relief printing.

You’ll be introduced to linoleum cutting as you learn how to design, carve, ink, and print your

very own linocut. Using traditional carving tools, you’ll transform a simple linoleum block into a

printable image, roll it with black ink, and print by hand—embracing the beauty of imperfections

along the way.

Design options will be provided, but you’re encouraged to bring your own simple image to carve

(approximately 5" x 7"). Each participant will leave with a finished edition of 5 prints and their

hand-carved linoleum block to keep and reuse for future projects. No experience is

necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
