In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the basics of designing, carving, and hand-printing your own original linocut to create a bespoke bookplate that can be used to adorn your books for years to come.
No prior experience is needed. We’ll work through sketching the design, carving, and printing techniques while creating a unique bookplate that reflects your personality. Not sure what design to use? I’ll have some here to get you started.
All materials are included.
Suitable for ages 13 and up.
Please note that cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class may not be eligible for a refund.
Class will be held at Lil Fish Studios (Studio 101) in the Franklin Arts Center, 1001 Kingwood Street, Brainerd, MN 56401. Parking is available on Kingwood Street or in the lot. Please enter through the south-side entrance.
