Intro to Gelli Plate Printing workshop

Create your own collection of beautiful papers while exploring the playful world of gelli plate printing. In this beginner-friendly workshop, we'll use a soft gel printing plate, acrylic paints, stencils, and texture tools, to build layers of color, pattern, and texture.
Gelli printing is a wonderfully freeing process. The repetitive rolling, layering, and pulling of prints and the experimentation with color makes it easy to lose yourself in the creative process.
The papers you create will become a rich resource for future collage projects, handmade cards, art journals, and mixed-media artwork. You'll leave with a stack of one-of-a-kind prints, new printmaking skills, and plenty of inspiration for turning your papers into finished works of art.
All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
Suitable for ages 13 and up.

Class will be held at Lil Fish Studios (Studio 101) in the Franklin Arts Center, 1001 Kingwood Street, Brainerd, MN 56401. Parking is available on Kingwood Street or in the lot. Please enter through the south-side entrance.
