Come get your hands dirty while making figurative, abstract and or very experimental graphic masterpieces at the Donkey Mill Art Center. In this 2-day etching workshop, students will be challenged to create images using two resists, a soft ground line combined with the loose and expressive texture of soap ground. Soft ground offers the ability to transfer marks visually similar to a pencil or charcoal line. Soap ground, less controllable in nature, creates graphic painterly texture that accentuates brush strokes, only revealing its true beauty upon printing.
