Limerick, Ireland: 1st offering of the Foundations in Manual Therapy: Voice and Swallowing Disorders
Foundations in Manual Therapy: Voice and Swallowing Disorders in Limerick, Ireland.
On 19-20 September 2026, I will be presenting the Foundations in Manual Therapy: Voice and Swallowing Disorders seminar for the first time in the Republic of Ireland (Limerick). While targeting the specific patient populations of the SLT, this class draws in massage and occupational therapists, physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, voice coaches/teachers, and orofacial myofunctional-trained clinicians with an interest in this area. This seminar sets itself apart from other manual therapy courses by making patient preferences a primary concern throughout. Unlike "clinician-as-expert" approaches, in which all responsibility for treatment decisions rests with therapists, this shared decision-making approach elevates patient input to meet the demands of the evidence-based model of healthcare.
Earlier, I presented a webinar for Irish SLTs (#iaslt) that we recorded and can be viewed at
