About this Event
Come and explore Limerick, as we walk through centuries of history and stories! Learn the history of different sites, such as the historic bridges, the castle, St.Mary's Cathedral, the Treaty Stone, and the beautiful river Shannon. We will also be taking in the different quarters of Limerick, and watching how the city developed!
Tickets are 10 euro for adults, teenagers, and older children, but all children under 10 go free!
Some of what you'll see:
-Arthur's Quay Park, 17th Century to modern day
-The Hunt Museum/Customs House, 17th Century to modern day
-St. Mary's Cathedral, 12th Century to modern day
-Nicholas Street, 12th Century to modern day
-Bishop's Palace, 18th Century to modern day
-King John's Castle, 18th Century to modern day
-Treaty Stone, 18th Century to modern day
-Shannon Rowing Club, 19th Century to modern day
Please note- 90 minute walking tour of Limerick City centre, travelling across various surfaces
Starting Point is at Arthur's Quay Park, and your tour guide will have a Limerick Civic Trust/People's Museum jacket
