Why the Lil Warriors Retreat Matters.

Confidence, resilience, and self-love are qualities every young girl deserves to grow up with—but the world doesn’t always make that easy. Pressures to fit in, self-doubt, and comparison can start early, making it crucial to give girls spaces where they feel strong, seen, and empowered to be exactly who they are.

The Lil Warriors Retreat is designed to do just that. Over three days, girls will build confidence, explore their inner strength, and celebrate themselves through movement, nature, creativity, and community. From self-love workshops and outdoor adventures to a magical warrior photoshoot, this retreat helps them tap into their courage and creativity in a fun and supportive environment.

I’m Joelle, and I own Wild Earth Artistry. I have training in Self-Love coaching, Forest Bathing, Meditation& Mindfuless Guiding, Sacred Spaces Faciliting & I hold a wilderness first aid certifcate. I have 4+ years Experience facilitating Experiences and Gatherings for women, many years of child care and many many years of guiding women and children in my photography work.

My work revolves around helping women embrace their power through photography, self-love experiences, and nature-based & creative experiences. Through my self-love and embodiment photography, I’ve witnessed how transformative it can be for women to see themselves in a new light—strong, radiant, and powerful.

This inspired me to create Lil Warrior Photoshoots, where young girls get to step into their confidence, express themselves freely, and see the beauty in their own strength. But I wanted to take it further—to create an experience where they don’t just pose like warriors, but truly become them.

That’s what the Lil Warriors Retreat is all about. It’s not just a fun three days—it’s an experience designed to leave a lasting impact, equipping girls with tools to carry confidence, bravery, and self-expression into their everyday lives.

I am the facilitator of this retreat, but I will also be joined by Lindsey Drummond as my right hand woman!

Lindsey has a diploma is elementary education. She has 15 years experience working with pre-school and elementary grades as an educational assistant, where she worked closely with children with complex needs. She most recently recieved her diploma in Social Work with her RSW designation, with a focus on anti-oppressive practice and trauma informed care.

There may be a third and well thought out volutneer if the size of the group requires this.

Important Information about the Retreat.

📍 Locations:

• Day 1 & 2: Kerry Wood Nature Centre – McCullough Room (Historic House)
• Day 3: Private property in Red Deer (address provided upon registration)

⏳ Times: Drop-off at 9:00 AM, Pick-up at 3:00 PM daily

🍽Snacks & Water Available each day, attendees are required to bring lunches on day one and two. Lunch provided on Day 3

* Kerrywood is a NO NUT FACILITY***

Parents of each attendee will be required to fill out consent/liablity/intake form to ensure we have all the necessary information about each attendee. This will be sent out after you register.

A 3-day empowerment retreat for girls (ages 9-13) to build confidence, resilience, and connection through movement, creativity, nature, and celebration!

Each day is filled with activities designed to help girls step into their strength, embrace their individuality, and form lifelong friendships.

Sliding Scale Payment Options

The Lil Warriors Retreat is offered on a sliding scale of $280,$299,$333 with an extra option of $355 as a pay it forward option. This is to make it as accessible as possible while honoring the value of this experience. I trust and appreciate honest participation in choosing an amount that reflects both your financial situation and the worth of this offering.

$50 of your payment is a non-refundable deposit to secure your child’s spot.

Payments can be split into two installments if needed—just reach out!

If canceled at least 2 weeks before the retreat, the remainder (minus the $50 deposit and Eventbrite fees) can be refunded.
