Join us for an evening of heartfelt country and folk songwriting at Frequency Sound 528. This special concert series night features two acts rooted in storytelling, warm melodies, and the kind of music that brings people together.

Marsha Thompson is an Okanagan-based singer-songwriter whose original country/folk songs draw inspiration from nature, life’s observations, humour, and BC history. Known for her warm alto voice and poetic storytelling, Marsha’s relaxed stage presence has endeared her to audiences across the region. She has released three studio albums, including Wishing on Stars, and often performs with Ellie Young on bass and Tyler Thompson on drums, creating a sound that taps the toes and speaks to the soul.

Lighthouse Rd. is a country/folk trio formed by lifelong friends Wesley (lead vocals, guitar), Eric (piano, backing vocals), and Brandon (drums). What began as countless basement jam sessions evolved into a full musical project in 2025. Their music blends heartfelt lyrics, rich harmonies, and the easy chemistry of friends who have been making music together for years.
