Light of Winter Soundbath at Pan's Apothika Annexe

A time to honor the light and dark, death and rebirth, and enter the lighter days of winter hibernation. The Light of Winter Soundbath will aid us in emerging from the deep of winter and shed what no longer serves to create space for our intentions in the New Year.

Using the power of sound and meditation, we’ll relax, restore, and “retune” ourselves into balance. Sound can often guide us into releasing pain, worry, and anxiety, expanding our neural pathways by clearing our slate in a meditative state. Soundbaths can thus often create space for healing, allowing creative insights to spark through!

Reiki is a technique where universal life force energy is channeled through an attuned practitioner to another person in order to promote relaxation, natural self-healing abilities, and the clearing of chakra blockages.

Crystal bowls in the key of F, D, and A will be played alongside ambient strings and chimes.

THE SOUNDBATH WILL INCLUDE:

– A group check-in⁣

– Info about sound healing

– Sympathetic frequencies, entrainment, & brainwaves

– An extended soundbath where you can relax and let go⁣

– Hands-off personal healing energy reiki by Ann Eliza of Sundown Tarot

– A guided meditation at the beginning and end of the sonic experience⁣

– Journal prompts to close out the evening and encourage creative insights

– Exercises that will enhance your sound perception and discernment in your everyday life, helping with meditation, clarity, and creativity

Please arrive 15 minutes early to find street parking. Bring a yoga mat, a blanket, water, and a journal. We will lock the door at 3:05pm and late entries will not be admitted.
