Life Chronicles: 1st Year Anniversary

The Life Chronicles: 1st Year Anniversary is a special evening dedicated to honoring both literary achievement and community spirit. The event celebrates the success of Life Chronicles, which has reached over 100 sales, while also launching the second phase of the Donations Drive Initiative, i.e. an effort that continues to promote kindness, inclusion, and collective contribution.

At its core, Life Chronicles is a personal dedication to the experiences of adapting to a new culture, overcoming obstacles, and finding a sense of belonging in an unfamiliar land. It reflects the author’s own story of arriving in Darwin with aspirations and uncertainties, learning to embrace diversity, and gradually building a life defined by resilience, education, and service to others. Each chapter stands as a testament to the strength of international students who redefine home through courage, connection, and purpose.

This celebration will bring together students, community organisations, and guests from various professional and cultural backgrounds. It aims to create a platform where meaningful connections are built through shared stories, creative performances, and discussions that inspire social responsibility.

For CDU students, this event offers an opportunity to engage with the local community, expand their professional networks, and contribute to a charitable cause while celebrating a milestone rooted in education, resilience, and storytelling.

Attendees are requested to arrive by 5:30 PM for a 6:00 PM commencement. Food will be provided, and drinks will be available at guests’ own convenience.

Your ticket purchase directly supports the Community Initiatives for NT Community, with all proceeds going towards community-based projects across the Northern Territory. These funds will be provided to community organisations where support is needed most, helping create positive and lasting impact across the NT.
