Liepāja 2027 atklāšanas svētkus papildinās 11 īpaši pasākumi, kas 2027. gada 23. janvārī no plkst. 20.00 norisināsies dažādās pilsētas kultūrvietās. Katrs no tiem atklās Liepājas daudzveidīgo raksturu, pilsētas paradoksus un radošo enerģiju, aicinot Liepājas iedzīvotājus un viesus iepazīt Liepāju no jauna. Šajā vakarā savas durvis vērs 11 kultūrtelpas, piedāvājot kultūras un izklaides pasākumus.
Kultūras namā “Wiktorija” norisināsies Vinilplašu balle, kurā mūzika tiks atskaņota vienīgi no vinila platēm. Par dejām un kopējo vakara noskaņu rūpēsies DJ Eduards Švāns, Mixmeistari AG un Raitis, lokālā apvienība Aldis Ermanbriks ar DJ KisMel un DJ Enkurs.
Apmeklētājiem būs iespēja ne tikai baudīt mūziku analogajā skanējumā, bet arī apmeklēt Jersika Records vinila plašu tirdziņu, satikt kolekcionārus un domubiedrus, kā arī uzzināt vairāk par vinila kultūru Latvijā, tās attīstību un arvien pieaugošo popularitāti.

Liepāja 2027 Opening Celebrations will be complemented by 11 special events taking place across the city's cultural venues on 23 January 2027, from 20:00 onwards. Each event will reveal a different facet of Liepāja's character, highlighting the city's contrasts, creative spirit, and unique identity, while inviting both locals and visitors to rediscover Liepāja. Throughout the evening, 11 cultural spaces will open their doors, offering a diverse programme of cultural experiences and entertainment.
At Wiktorija Cultural House, visitors are invited to the Vinyl Record Ball, where music will be played exclusively from vinyl records. The evening's soundtrack and dance floor atmosphere will be curated by DJs Eduards Švāns, Mixmeistari AG and Raitis, the local collective Aldis Ermanbriks together with DJ KisMel, and DJ Enkurs.
In addition to enjoying the warm, authentic sound of vinyl, guests will be able to browse the Jersika Records vinyl market, meet collectors and fellow enthusiasts, and discover more about Latvia's vinyl culture, its development, and its growing popularity.
The project is implemented by SIA "Wiktorija".
