Each event will reveal a different facet of Liepāja’s character, highlighting the city’s unique paradoxes and that raw creative energy, while inviting both residents and visitors to rediscover Liepāja from a fresh perspective. On this evening, 11 cultural spaces will open their doors, offering a diverse programme of cultural and entertainment events.
At the Pegasus Courtyard venue, visitors are invited to experience “Curonian Hook. An Adventure with the Sounds and Flavours of Liepāja” – a multi-layered event that explores Liepāja’s cultural identity through all the senses. Guests can expect gastronomic performances, interactive installations, extraordinary lighting design, and a musical programme in which traditional motifs blend with contemporary rhythms. Bringing together heritage and contemporary creativity, the event offers a unique encounter between past and present, revealing Liepāja’s spirit of (un)rest in a new light.
