Liepāja 2027 atklāšanas svētki - koncerts “TRUBADŪRS. Pietura: LIEPĀJA”

Liepāja 2027 atklāšanas svētkus papildinās 11 īpaši pasākumi, kas 2027. gada 23. janvārī no plkst. 20.00 norisināsies dažādās pilsētas kultūrvietās. Katrs no tiem atklās Liepājas daudzveidīgo raksturu, pilsētas paradoksus un radošo enerģiju, aicinot Liepājas iedzīvotājus un viesus iepazīt Liepāju no jauna. Šajā vakarā savas durvis vērs 11 kultūrtelpas, piedāvājot kultūras un izklaides pasākumus.
Mākslas galerijā "Romas dārzs" izskanēs koncerts "Trubadūrs. Pietura: Liepāja", ko rīko "Austras biedrība". Koncerts izgaismos Liepājas nozīmīgo lomu latviešu dziesminieku kustības attīstībā un godinās Austras Pumpures bagātīgo mantojumu. Uz vienas skatuves satiksies dziesminieki – Anta Eņģele, Ieva Akuratere un Ilze Grunte, Latvijas Nacionālā teātra aktieris Juris Hiršs, jaunās paaudzes dziesminieks un virtuozais ģitārists Reinis Jaunais, kā arī lietuviešu dziesminieks Darius Žvirblis.
Pēc koncerta līdz plkst. 00.00 koncerta apmeklētājiem bez maksas būs iespējams gida pavadībā latviešu valodā (vai izmantojot audiogidu ierīces angļu valodā) iepazīt Austrai Pumpurei veltīto ekspozīciju “Viss vienalga, mierā neliks…” radošajā telpā “Austras istaba”, kas atrodas turpat blakus Berči zālei.

The opening celebrations of Liepāja 2027 will be enriched by 11 special events taking place across the city’s cultural venues on 23 January 2027 from 20:00 onwards. Each event will reveal a different facet of Liepāja’s character, highlighting the city’s unique paradoxes and that raw creative energy, while inviting both residents and visitors to rediscover Liepāja from a fresh perspective. On this evening, 11 cultural spaces will open their doors, offering a diverse programme of cultural and entertainment events.
The Roman Garden Art Gallery will host the concert “Troubadour. Stop: Liepāja”, organized by the Austra Society. The concert will highlight Liepāja’s significant role in the development of the Latvian singer-songwriter movement and honor the legacy of Austra Pumpure. Bringing together artists from different generations, the concert will feature singer-songwriters Anta Eņģele, Ieva Akuratere, and Ilze Grunte, actor Juris Hiršs from the Latvian National Theatre, acclaimed young singer-songwriter and virtuoso guitarist Reinis Jaunais, and Lithuanian singer-songwriter Darius Žvirblis.
Following the concert, visitors will have the opportunity to explore, free of charge until midnight, the exhibition dedicated to Austra Pumpure, “Nothing Can Keep Me at Peace…”, located in the creative space Austra’s Room next to the Berči Hall. Guided tours in Latvian will be available, while English-speaking visitors can discover the exhibition using audio guide devices.
