Lids Open Day at the Burrell Collection - with Glasgow Voices Choir and Kate Barrie

The first of three Lids Open Days in a summer of piano events.
Thanks to #NationalLottery Players, Glasgow Piano Project CIC has received £10,000 from National Lottery Awards for All in celebration of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. We are planning a summer of piano shenanigans with 2 more Lids Open Days coming up at the Mitchell Library on Saturday July 4th and at City Halls on Saturday July 18th too.
Thanks to 'Friends of Pollok Country Park' we are back at the Burrell Collection on Sunday 28th June. Our 'Pop-Up' piano will be there all day in the central auditorium from 11.30am to 4.30pm.
Just Turn Up and Play!
There will be performances from Glasgow Voices Choir and Kate Barrie from 1-2pm. There may well be other surprises too. Let's see what happens.
Our lovely old 'Collard & Collard' upright piano, will be free for everyone to play before and after the performance, whatever your age, ability or musical style. Every player will have 12 mins max @.
