I am so excited to announce that Lexicons for Life is coming to Bentleigh West Primary School on September 3.
For those who know the school, you’ll understand why this matters.
Bentleigh West has long been recognised for leading the way in evidence based practice. This is a school that does not chase trends. It thinks deeply, reads the research, and implements with integrity. I’ve admired that culture for years, and I’ve also had the privilege of a long and wonderful friendship with the principal, Sarah Asome, which makes this collaboration especially meaningful.
On the day, we’ll do what Lexicons for Life does best:
We'll gather real words from real educators and unpack them together.
Orthography. Morphology. Etymology. Vocabulary.
Not as separate silos, but as interacting forces.
Participants will also gain access to the bespoke online pre course space where they can submit words in advance and begin the discussion before we even step into the room. This hybrid model is deliberate and rare. It allows the day to be shaped by the people in it.
