About this Event
Welcome to the registration for Lexia LETRS! Please note: one registration form is required for each participant.
Audience: K-5 elementary district and site administrators, instructional coaches, and educators.
Overview: Lexia Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS) Professional Learning is a two-year professional learning suite that enables you to gain essential skills to enhance student learning through effective literacy instruction.
Key Benefits:
*Distinguish research-based best practices from unsupported ideas.
*Understand the connection between language, reading, and writing.
*Make informed instructional decisions using scientific evidence and assessments.
*Identify and address reading challenges, including dyslexia, early on.
*Experience inclusive, affirming professional development.
Duration: 2024-2025 & 2025-2026 school years. To support educator retention, we encourage administrators to establish 2-year MOUs with participants to ensure full commitment to the training. See a sample MOU here.
Participant Expectations:
*Engage in asynchronous learning for 2.5 hours/week
*Attend four in-person sessions annually
*Attend the Science of Reading Kick-off Event on August 2nd, which includes LETRS onboarding. .

Cost: $2,300 per participant total for 2 years
