I'm excited to host my Summer Reading Series at the Georgetown Public Library, Lewes Public Library, and Milton Public Libraries for neighbors in our district!
This posting is specifically for our Lewes event on August 15th!
We'll be reading and discussing Evicted by Matthew Desmond, a powerful book that explores the challenges of housing insecurity and its impact on families and communities.
This year's series is especially meaningful as we also celebrate the 125th anniversary of Delaware's public libraries and recognize the important role they have played in providing access to knowledge, lifelong learning, and bringing our communities together for generations.
I look forward to engaging in thoughtful conversations, hearing your perspectives, and connecting with neighbors as we learn from one another. I hope you'll join us for this meaningful opportunity to read, discuss, celebrate our libraries, and strengthen our community together.
