Football pioneers Clyde Best + Ade Coker lead an insider conversation on soccer with a film preview from "Transforming the Beautiful Game"
About this Event

Join football pioneers Clyde Best and Ade Coker for an evening of conversation, storytelling, and film excerpts from Transforming the Beautiful Game: The Clyde Best Story, presented by The Black Soccer Coaches Community with United Soccer Coaches in collaboration with MoCADA.

Through clips woven throughout the program, Clyde and Ade will reflect on their groundbreaking journeys from Bermuda and Nigeria to English football during a transformative era. Together, they helped break racial barriers in the sport while paving the way for future generations of players in England, Europe, and the United States.

The discussion will explore the global influence of Black footballers—from Pelé and the rise of Brazilian football to the impact of players from Africa, the Caribbean, and the broader African diaspora whose talent, courage, and perseverance helped transform the world's game.
