Let’s Read Oak Park returns with a joyful, community‑centered morning at Underground Books. On July 11 from 10–11 AM, children’s author Angel Boone will share her uplifting story Making Friends in Preschool, a warm guide to kindness, sharing, and building friendships.

Families can expect an engaging read‑aloud, hands‑on activities, and a welcoming space for young readers to learn, laugh, and connect. Every child ages 5–12 will receive a free book to take home, supporting literacy and confidence in our community’s youth.
