The briefing will feature a presentation by Textbook Project Co-Director and Co-Editor, UCLA Professor Karen Umemoto. Written by more than 100 leading scholars, journalists, organizers, and community historians, the textbook highlights the histories, experiences, and contributions of more than 20 Asian American and Pacific Islander communities across the United States, its territories, and the Pacific.
