We are hosting a basket bingo fundraiser to help one of our own. Please read the
following information and any help you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.
Oliver was born with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, meaning that a portion of
his chest cavity never closed, causing his internal organs to push up through the
opening and against his heart. Thankfully, Oliver has made it through his operation to
close the chest cavity. Now he will be on an ECMO until his lungs fully develop and he
can breath on his own. This means he will be recovering in the NICU at Johns Hopkins
All Children’s Hospital in Saint Petersburg, FL for the next three months.
Oliver’s parents have had to relocate with their two-year old daughter, over two
hours away from their home. This has caused severe financial hardship for the family,
as they are unable to work while taking care of Oliver. We are throwing this fundraiser to
help raise money to help them with their living expenses over the next few months.
