Let's Gather, Let's Listen, Let's Do Better:
A Intersectional Community Forum for Trans & Gender-Diverse Voices
Our Purpose:
Co-Hosted by Gatlyn Dame Group, TransCollective937, and TransHearts, this collaborative community forum provides a safe and structured platform for ANY AND ALL underrepresented transgender and gender-diverse identities, this includes disabled, neurodivergent, intersex, parasex, transmasculine, BIPOC, agender, and non-binary community members. This event is supported by our friends at PFLAG Dayton.
How to Participate:
To ensure total accessibility, attendees can join us either in-person or live via Zoom. All participants can share feedback verbally or virtually/anonymously via Vevox on their personal mobile devices. We are seeking constructive and actionable feedback focused on creating accessible, inclusive spaces for all trans and gender-diverse Ohioans, especially those holding intersecting identities.
Event Format
- Guided Prompts: Organizers will present key questions to explore access gaps in healthcare, social spaces, and local support networks.
- Open Audience Q&A: The floor is open for attendees—both in the room and online—to bring their own questions, topics, and real-world challenges to local leadership.
- Free Lunch: A complimentary lunch is generously provided by PFLAG Dayton. (This includes Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-Free options).
Location & Ticket Options:
- In-Person: Dayton Metro Library – Main Branch (The Center for Community Impact & Innovation). Includes on-site community connection and free lunch.
- Virtual (Zoom): Join via Zoom from anywhere! Virtual attendees will view the live panel and speaker discussion. Note: To protect community privacy, virtual streams will only feature the panel/presenters, and there is no active recording of in-person attendee faces.
Admission:
100% FREE: This event is completely free to attend, however it is REQUIRED to Pre-Register/RSVP via this Eventbrite page by selecting either your In-Person or Virtual ticket type at checkout.

Info: Make sure if you are attending in person, to have your Eventbrite ticket pulled up and ready to be scanned at the door. Then you are welcome to grab free Lunch provided by PFLAG Dayton, then sit wherever you'd like!

Info: The event will now formally begin. There will be a small presentation going over the goal of the event, the guidelines for engaging in this event, going over the Vevox app to submit questions/feedback

Info: The organizers will begin with questions/prompts and everyone is allowed up to 2 minutes to share their feedback in relation to the question/prompts this can be verbally as well as digitally via the Vevox app.

Info: Due to the length of the event, we will be doing a small 10 minute intermission to allow people to get more lunch, use the gender affirming restrooms, talk with neighbors, etc.
