Let's Fly 5K and Fun Run

East High School is pleased to announce the first annual Let's Fly 5K and Fun Run. Join us on Saturday, September 26 for a free kids' fun run followed by a few laps around our beautiful new campus to help us raise money for a life-changing organization: all proceeds will be donated to the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD) at Children's Hospital in Colorado Springs.
Race registration, via the flyer's QR code or the link in the comments, is now open. Don't want to run or walk but still want to participate? Donations will be accepted until race day.
Why Children's Hospital, specifically? East High School Assistant Principal James MacIndoe's one year-old daughter was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia last September, and has spent at least one day a week at the Cancer Center since then. The care she has received has been exemplary, and the Eagle Empire is eager to honor and support the cancer team's work in whatever way possible.
