Mandala - Glass Class

Each student will learn about the glass fusing process in this introductory class. No experience necessary and only minimal glass cutting will be required for this intro level class. This class is suitable for adults, seniors, and teens over 16 years of age. Materials and Tools information below. N95 Mask is recommended for safety. Each student will complete a 9" Glass Mandala using frit and scrap glass embellishments to create an artistic mandala design on a 9" circle of clear fusible glass. The fused mandala can be fired flat or into a bowl or flower mold, per the students wishes. Students are encouraged to bring a beverage and a snack or lunch when classes interfere with their normal eating times. There is a drinking fountain in the hall, but there are no vending machines on site.
