Leticia Rioja creates and
emotional torrent that flows
into an ocean of sensations
through the magical amalgam
of voice combined with
percussive tap dance, guitar,
and the traditional Mexican
jarana.
Leticia took the adventure of playing an
instrument, blended it exquisitely with her
powerful voice, and charges it with
traditional tap folk dance. In this
multifaceted challenge, principally mental,
she discovered the importance of
discipline, concentration, and coordination.
Leticia credits the attainment of art form
through the extensive practice and
development of breathing techniques. She
has created her own musical language
where honesty shines through every
molecule of her authentic being.
