Let Them Work-Building Confidence & Independence
🐾 NEW AGILITY WORKSHOP — LET THEM WORK! 🐾
Building Confidence & Independence
https://portal.busypaws.app/customers/bell-creek-agility-obedience?booking_id=2132170
Do you feel like you have to escort your dog to every obstacle? If you move away, does your dog come with you instead of continuing down the line?
It may be time to let them work!
This three-hour workshop will focus on helping dogs develop the confidence to work away from their handler, commit to obstacles, and continue moving forward without needing you right beside them every step of the way.
We’ll work on:
🐾 Building confidence away from the handler
🐾 Developing forward focus and obstacle commitment
🐾 Gradually increasing distance
🐾 Using your position and motion without accidentally pulling your dog back to you
🐾 Recognizing when your dog needs support—and when it's time to trust them to do their job
This isn't about sending your dog around an entire course while you stand still. It's about creating more independence for your dog and more handling options for you.
Less escorting. More commitment. More confident dogs.
📅 Sunday, October 18
⏰ 1:00 AM–2:00 PM
📍 Sirius Ranch
🐕 Only 6 working teams
💲 $125 per dog/handler team
Dogs should know all agility equipment. Appropriate for teams from pre-trial through experienced competitors.
Three hours. Six teams. Lots of working time and individualized feedback.
👉 Registration is open—come let your dog learn to do their job! https://portal.busypaws.app/customers/bell-creek-agility-obedience?booking_id=2132170
