Big Walls and Bedtime StoriesFrOCS would like to welcome local adventurer and world-renowned climber Leo Houlding for an extraordinary evening of stories from his family’s year of education through adventure. Swapping the school run for steep summits and the daily grind for grand adventures, Leo, his wife Jess, and their two young children rented out their home, packed their bags, and set off to explore the world.
From shredding powder in Japan to climbing the mighty El Capitan, sea-kayaking across uber remote archipelagos in Papua New Guinea to unclimbed 4000m peaks in Kyrgyzstan, their travels took them to some of the planet’s most iconic wild places — all with the challenge and joy of adventuring as a family. Expect jaw-dropping tales, stunning photography/film, and candid reflections on the highs, lows, and life lessons from a year spent chasing dreams together.
