Leisurely Bike Ride to Isabella Plantation, New Malden and Wimbledon

Meet from 9:45 am for a 10 am departure from Brook Green W6 7BD, beside the tennis courts.

This weekend, we will ride to Bushy Park via Richmond Park, where we will visit Isabella Plantation. Please bring a bike lock. We will lock our bikes outside Isabella Plantation. We will spend approximately 30-60 minutes exploring the garden and admiring beautiful nature creations.

The Isabella Plantation is a 40-acre woodland garden set within a Victorian woodland plantation planted in the 1830's. First opened to the public in 1953, it is best known for its evergreen azaleas, which line the ponds and streams and at their peak of flower in late April and early May.

After Richmond Park, we will continue to New Malden and Wimbledon. We will stop for refreshments in New Malden. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks or get some from the cafe in the park.

We expect to be back at Brook Green at about 2 pm.

Bring locks, lights and carry a spare inner tube or a puncture repair kit. Bring a rain jacket just in case.
