Our co‑creation workshop is an interactive event that brings together academic researchers from Leicestershire and Rutland’s universities and professionals from local community‑focused organisations. We strongly recommend that anyone interested in developing a PhD or Research Placement project proposal for Collaboratory’s 2027 intake attend one of our co‑creation workshops.

Aim

The aim of our co‑creation workshop is to help you connect with potential collaborators, explore and refine early research project ideas, and receive expert guidance on developing high‑quality, collaborative projects.

Who is this event for?

• Academic researchers and related staff from Loughborough University, University of Leicester and De Montfort University who are interested in developing collaborative, community‑centred research projects.
• Community professionals interested in becoming partners in new, community‑centred research projects. (You may be salaried or a volunteer, but your organisation must be based in Nottinghamshire and its work must support one or more Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland communities.)
