Legados II: Mestre Dinho Nascimento & Mestre Itaborá

December 12th-15th we will celebrate the second year of our LEGADOS — starting with a special show by Mestre Dinho Nascimento at The Back Room, a Dinner & Show at Casa de Cultura, MANY RODAS (!!!) and workshops of capoeira, music, culture, and dance, inspiring deeper connections within our community.

Mestre Dinho comes with his son, João and 4 other artists, musicians / dancers who are filming a documentary about the berimbau. They have just returned from Africa and will share some of their experiences with us.

Mestre Itabora has dedicated his life to the art of capoeira and the growth of our global and local community. He is well known for bringing us together with "Vadiandos," "Birim - orin," and teachers meetings.

Mestre Acordeon and the Capoeira Arts Foundation are honored to host and celebrate the gifts of Mestre Dinho and Mestre Itabora together in community with local and international guests.
