A free public lecture presented by Dr. Shahrad Taheri, Professor of Medicine, Weill Cornell. Location Cornell's Warren Hall, B25
Parking on campus is free after 5 p.m.
Dr. Taheri and his team have shown that an intensive lifestyle intervention can result in over 60 percent of people putting their type 2 diabetes remission without medication. Taheri will present his work and show how lifestyle changes and modern ideas can help us look at type 2 diabetes differently and provide better potential outcomes for affected people.
