Learn the art of memoir: explore what to include, where to begin, and how to bring your stories to life
About this Event

You’ve got stories to tell—but how? Join author and alum Jason Buchholz '96 and publisher Ben LeRoy, the co-founders of Collaborist, for an evening exploring the art and craft of autobiographical storytelling. We’ll discuss different approaches to memoir and cover what to include and what to leave out, where to start and where to end, and what kind of help is out there for writers, whether you’re writing with the aim of publishing a book for a wide audience or recording your family’s history for future generations.

This event will include interactive activities to kick-start your writing journey.
