RVC Fine & Performing Arts Department presents Leaving Iowa, directed by RVC theatre instructor Jen Thompson.
Leaving Iowa is a heartwarming, comedic play by Spike Manton and Tim Clue about a man who returns home to scatter his father's ashes, leading him on a road trip across Iowa while flashing back to his family's disastrous childhood vacations. The story blends present-day events with nostalgic, often humorous, memories of his father's obsession with roadside attractions, creating a relatable and funny look at family dynamics and the classic American road trip.
Performances are free and open to the public on RVC's Main Campus, Educational Resource Center (ERC), Lower Level Performing Arts Room (PAR).
