About this Event
Online Workshop - Learning more about BPD: An information session for Families and Friends (2.5 hour) 25th November 2024
This information session is aimed for carers (families and friends) who support someone with (or a likely diagnosis) of borderline personality disorder [BPD]. It provides information about BPD and how to best support the person whilst still caring for yourselves. The group will briefly explore a number of educational and practical approaches to learning new skills in the context of a safe environment amongst other carers.
Presenters:

She is currently employed as a Senior Clinician at Spectrum working in collaboration with the Spectrum Lived Experience Team (consumer and carer) and intake team.
Jackie Knight Jackie works as a Lived Experience Worker – Carer here at Spectrum. She uses her lived experience as a carer for her son who lives with mental health issues to inform her work with carers.
