Learn to Sew Workshop - Make a Quilt Coat
Turn a cozy quilt (or blanket) into a one-of-a-kind quilt coat! In this hands-on workshop we’ll use a sweatshirt as the pattern to create a simple, stylish coat that’s perfect for cool weather.
Who it’s for:
Adventurous beginners welcome! No prior sewing experience required—just a willingness to try something fun and creative. You’ll leave with a finished (or nearly finished) quilt coat and the confidence to sew more.
What you’ll make:
A simple quilt coat using your own quilt/blanket and a sweatshirt as the pattern. The process is straightforward and beginner-friendly.
What to bring:
* A quilt or blanket you’d like to turn into a coat
* A sweatshirt in the size you wear (this becomes your pattern)
Don’t already have a quilt or blanket? No problem—I’ll share several affordable options you can order ahead of time (links will be provided after registration).
What’s provided:
Sewing machines (if you need one), all other supplies, tools, and guidance throughout the class.
