Learn to sew and Upcycle a top

Hey you wanna upcycle a shirt, learn to sew and learn fun sewing techniques? Then this is the class for you. No experience needed. For adults who want to learn to sew and then upcycle a top we will take our time and go step by step together. My classes are very relaxed and there is no pressure for perfection. Time for questions. As long as you want to learn to sew and give it a try we will get it done. You'll learn to sew, learn techniques to apply to sew more pieces at home and leave with a finished project! What you will learn: Basics of sewing How to use your machine (takes about an hour) :) Practice your new found talent Cut up your shirt to convert it to a gathered bottom top. What you need: A button up shirt that fits *not too tight and is larger is fine(cotton nothing stretchy or satin) You can find something thrifted or something in your closet. Wear a tank top to be able to try on your top over Coordinating thread. I have thread, but I might not have a color you want. :) I provide the sewing machines and all the tools to sew. You just bring your top and coordinating thread. Space is limited as we are sewing in my sewing shed. This class will take at most 3 hours or less. Trust me we can do it.
