Learn to rock climb outdoors with the OAC at Cragmont Park in the Berkeley Hills!
This introduction to outside rock climbing in the cliffs and crags in the Berkeley Hills is a great way to develop climbing skills on real rock. First timer and beginner climbers will be introduced to rock climbing in this great outdoor environment. And gym climbers will love this chance to take their indoors skills outside!
This Outdoor Adventure Club activity is designed as an introduction to the exciting sport of outdoor rock climbing — an adventure that delivers great fun, beautiful scenery, as well as physical and mental stimulation. There’s nothing like the exhilaration of working your way up a rock face, then rappelling down like you’re dancing on the walls. We have a small maximum climber to guide ratio (6 to 1) so you are sure to get plenty of personalized instruction with safety as our number one priority, with fun a close second. Anyone can learn to rock climb. You don't need extreme upper body strength and no climbing experience (even indoors) is required.
