Learn to Ride - Bangor

Learn to Ride sessions for those aged 3 to 11, every week from 15th March to the 12th April. You can book onto one or more sessions.

Join our Learn to Ride Programme, a fun and supportive course designed to help children aged 3-11build confidence and develop essential cycling skills in a safe environment.

Led by qualified British Cycling coaches, these sessions focus on teaching the fundamental skills needed to ride safely and confidently. Whether participants are just starting out or looking to improve their basic bike handling, this programme provides structured coaching and plenty of practice.

During the sessions, riders will work on the key foundations of cycling, including:

• Balancing and controlling the bike
• Starting and stopping safely
• Pedalling efficiently
• Braking correctly and safely
• Cornering and steering control
• Developing confidence and coordination on the bike

Our coaches create a positive, encouraging environment where riders can progress at their own pace while building important cycling skills.

• 🚲 Participants must bring their own bike and helmet (helmet use is mandatory).
• 👨‍🏫 All sessions are delivered by qualified British Cycling coaches.

Please meet outside Brailsford Gym 10 minutes before the start of the session so we can begin promptly.
