Learn to Play Chess

Learn basic chess moves and beginner strategies in this class offered over two days, Monday, June 22, and Wednesday, June 24. This course will be taught by Mike Nikitin, a three-time Class C state champion and president of the Livingston County Chess Club. The first day will focus more on beginner basics, with some playtime; the second day will have a shorter instructional period, followed by more playtime to put what you learned to the test!
This free course is for children and teens aged 9-17.
